Every piece is a designer item, which is crafted individually
out of the most beautiful hardwoods and finished by hand: this is
the signature of Legnoart, which gives its products such a distinct identity.

The raw material of all Legnoart products is hardwood. Legnoart only select the best “heartwood”, that is, the inner part – or “heart” – of the trunk. This selection translates into quality and durability.
The drying/seasoning phase continues until the raw material reaches an inner humidity value by 10%. This process is crucial to give solidity and robustness to the product.
Once selected and hand-picked, the profile of hardwood panels and planks are milled, drilled and joined, and later used as components for the traditional manufacturing phase of our products.
The finishing phase, a true art which brings out the beauty of wood, is performed only with organic plant and mineral substances, such as oil, wax and natural resins. Legnoart finishing is visually “open-pore”, to bring out the structure of wood and to display the pores where sap used to flow.
